About
What the CDW Guide is
The Official Design Guide is the printed and digital companion to Clerkenwell Design Week, presented by Swatchbox in partnership with Media 10 for the 2027 edition.
Print and digital, together
The 2027 edition is a 176-page printed guide alongside a live digital companion. The print piece is the object visitors carry through EC1 and keep afterwards. The digital edition carries the same listings in a form that can be searched, filtered and linked to, and each printed listing carries a QR code into it.
The pairing is deliberate. A printed guide is what people actually use while walking between showrooms, and a digital one is what they return to when a project reaches specification months later.
Distribution
The guide is distributed to visitors who register for the festival, and is available at CDW registration desks and exhibitor venues across the districts during the three show days. The digital edition stays live year-round, which is why listings are sold as twelve months of presence rather than three days of it.
Who reads it
The readership is the specifying audience: architects and interior designers, workplace and hospitality specifiers, and brand and buying leaders at end-user clients. These are people choosing products for live projects, which is a different proposition to general festival footfall.
Presented by Swatchbox
Swatchbox is a building-product physical sampling and digital companion platform. Clerkenwell Design Week is the UK's leading design festival, organised by Media 10. The guide is an official partnership between the two for 2027.
